"My surgery was a cinch! It was a very convenient, same-day procedure that completely changed my life. For years I had to wear pads all the time due to embarrassing leakage problems whenever I sneezed, coughed, or laughed. I couldn’t even walk up the stairs comfortably. Now I’m a brand new woman! I lead a happy, normal, leak-free life and my pad wearing days are over. The recovery was quicker than I’d ever imagined possible. Only two days later I was driving my car. I couldn’t believe it! It was such a breath of fresh air to find a doctor like Dr. Mordel who is energetic, thorough, and not at all burned out. He gave me personal attention and a fresh perspective on how to cure my condition, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I can’t thank him enough."

"I was skeptical at first about the whole procedure because it just sounded too good to be true. But what Dr. Mordel did for me is incredible. I can honestly say that he exceeded all my expectations, and I was highly impressed by the end result – no more leaks and no more trickles! I can jump around, go anywhere and do anything that I want to without having to worry. What I like about Dr. Mordel is that he really takes his time with you and is never in a rush. He sat down with me and explained every detail about the surgery at length and listened to my questions and concerns. He pays attention to your needs and treats the whole person. I didn’t feel like a patient; I felt like a friend. At AMIGS you know you’re in good hands. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking into this surgery. Dr. Mordel held my hand through the whole process and really took care of me from my first office visit until I stepped into my car to go home following the procedure."

"Before my surgery there was always such a sense of urgency to go to the restroom. I made up my mind that I wasn’t going to spend the rest of my life hunting bathrooms, and now I can live my life without worrying about scoping out the nearest one. Throughout my entire experience with AMIGS, I’d never felt so safe, well cared for and protected. When I was at the office it felt like I was the only patient Dr. Mordel and his staff was seeing. Everyone involved truly had my best interest at heart and went over and above to do everything they could to increase my comfort level and peace of mind. This was absolutely one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had."

"I would recommend this procedure to anyone, especially over taking the different medications that are available because the medicine may temporarily stop the urgency, but it doesn’t fix the real problem. Dr. Mordel does."

"I was referred to Dr. Mordel by a friend who raved about what a pleasant experience she had under his care. I am so glad that she led me to him. The surgery he performed dramatically improved my life. From my very first visit with Dr. Mordel, I knew that I was in the best of hands."

"After having my second baby at the age of 41, I began experiencing incontinence. I hated having such an embarrassing problem and knew that I was way too young for it. Thanks to Dr. Mordel I feel free again! He followed through on all of his promises and made such a difference in my life. The procedure wasn‚t at all traumatic and it was so easy to get back to my normal routine afterwards. I do yoga religiously, and following my surgery on Friday I was in yoga class on Monday morning!"

"Before finding Dr. Mordel, I had two bladder tack procedures and neither worked. I couldn‚t walk around without leaking and this went on for 10 years. Dr. Mordel put a swift end to my misery. This procedure was the most miraculous experience I‚ve ever had; it‚s been such a blessing. I want every woman to know about what Dr. Mordel can do. I wish I‚d known about him earlier!"

"Dr. Mordel gave me a new lease on life! As an avid tennis player, you can imagine how terrible it was suffering from leakage problems whenever I jumped, ran or even sneezed. Now all that is corrected. My quality of life has improved by leaps and bounds thanks to Drs. Mordel and Lepine. I feel like they really listened to me and were so concerned and attentive. I just can‚t stop singing their praises!"

"Following my hysterectomy I had a massive vaginal prolapse. When I talked to my gynecologist about what could be done, he said I’d have to go under the knife again for another big procedure and be out of work for another six to eight weeks. I was so relieved to learn about Dr. Mordel’s laparoscopic method. I experienced immediate relief from the horrible pain and discomfort I’d been living with. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Mordel."

"Prior to my surgery I lived with excruciating pain and I was anemic. I couldn‚t even donate blood at a blood drive because my count was so low. Now my pain is gone and I‚m no longer anemic. I had been searching for someone to help me for years. Of the eight doctors I'd visited, some told me I had fibroid tumors and some said I didn't. They knew instantly – without a doubt – and took action immediately. Dr. Mordel was very concerned about my well being. He presented me with all of my surgical options and then let me decide which way I wanted to proceed I‚m so thankful I finally found them!"

Ginger Thomas
Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH)
Previously I had a myomectomy to remove fibroid tumors. It was an invasive operation and I was out of work for a while recovering. When the fibroids came back last year (which they do more than half the time with that sort of surgery) I was faced with the decision to either wait it out and live with the discomfort or have a hysterectomy. At the time I didn’t know there was another option out there. Then I heard about Dr. Mordel and the LSH procedure, and decided to meet him and see for myself. Prepared with a list of questions, I met one-on-one with Dr. Mordel and he answered all of my questions patiently and precisely. He was so open, honest, and easy to talk to. I felt extremely comfortable with him and had complete trust in his abilities. My surgery lasted two hours and I left the hospital the same day. Walking out of the surgery I told everyone I’d love to be a poster child for this. You could hardly even tell I had anything done! And the recovery was surprisingly easy; such a difference from my last procedure. I am so glad I made this choice. Now I look back and ask myself why I didn’t do this sooner. More women need to know about this; they don’t know what they’re missing!

"Dr. Mordel saved me from a terrible medical oversight. Before I found Dr. Mordel I went to two other doctors to see determine my problem. I was weak, cranky, tired, and was suffering from terrible mood swings. The other doctors advised me to have a traditional hysterectomy procedure. They never took the time to address my concerns or understand my personal situation. Dr. Mordel did. He talked to me and listened to me in order to make a truly educated medical decision. He took all of my life experiences into account and found that a traditional hysterectomy would not be the best choice for me personally. It was decided that I undergo the LSH procedure and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I was as good as new in only two weeks, and since it was all done laparoscopically I don’t have to worry about unsightly scars."

"Minimally invasive surgery is the answer to every modern woman’s prayer. With such busy schedules, who wants to go under the knife for a complicated operation that could leave you in a painful recovery state for six to eight weeks and with a big scar to show for it? My surgery was just too good to be true. I was in and out without any hassle and the results are unbelievable. Today’s woman needs to know that there’s an easier way to get relief!"

"For 10 years I suffered from total uterine prolapse. Then one evening my husband heard Dr. Mordel on the radio discussing these new minimally invasive procedures and he suggested we check it out. When we met with Dr. Mordel he said he could help me ˜ and indeed he did! I‚ve had three separate very successful procedures performed by Dr. Mordel, and I can‚t say enough about how pleased I am. I feel like a completely new person! The biggest problem I had following each of the procedures was remembering that I had surgery. It was difficult forcing myself to "take it easy" when I felt as good as new."

"From the moment I met Dr. Mordel I knew I had nothing to worry about. When I tell you he was attentive, I mean following my surgery everyday for an entire week, they called to check up on me. That kind of care and concern is definitely not typical. The doctors at AMIGS are truly special and they really do care."
